Hot one today, alternating between sun and storms through early next week

Good morning everyone! Hot day yesterday with heat index values around 100˚F. Did have some showers and storms well ahead of a cold front. Further storms expected this evening just ahead of a modest cold front. Tomorrow will be pretty nice but we warm right back up Sunday. Monitoring early next week for some more thunderstorms. We are in summer now, so the expectation for thunderstorms should be few times a week.
Hottest day of the year will be today with thunderstorms expected in the evening. Primary concern will continue to be damaging winds and small hail. Timing is around 5:00 PM. Believe rush hour will be mostly fine, but by dinner expect storms. By 9:00 PM, we will be in the clear. Morning temperatures will be in the upper 70s with plenty of sunshine. This will allow the atmosphere to heat up for hot temperatures and severe thunderstorms. Highs are expected to be in the upper 90s with sunshine transitioning to clouds then storms. Heat index values will be a few degrees above 100˚F.
Due to cold front pushing through tonight, I do think tomorrow will be on the enjoyable side. While it will be rather warm, humidity will be noticeably less with no chance of precipitation. Morning temperatures will be in the low 70s with plenty of sunshine. Afternoon highs will be in the mid to upper 80s, and don’t think you will notice a whole lot of humidity with sunny skies.
We could also see some thunderstorms Sunday night. Damaging winds and small hail are possible. Morning temperatures will be in the low 70s with plenty of clouds. Still uncertain on exact timing of storms, but general idea is during the evening hours. Afternoon highs get warmer in the low 90s.
Cold front sweeps through Sunday night, which will make Monday pretty nice. Morning temperatures will be in the low 60s some sunshine. Barely any humidity can be anticipated in the afternoon with highs in the upper 70s. Truly a magical day.
Much of the same Tuesday, with slight chance of an afternoon thunderstorm or two. Morning temperatures will be in the mid 60s with plenty of clouds. Showers and storms possible in the afternoon with highs near 80˚F.
